I always thought Amanda in the tapes didn't have any memories regarding Sam's death. Until the story about the Dragon, Princess, Wizarding and the Knight, which tells us she (the entity) killed Sam along with the Colton anomaly tape.
So does Amanda somehow remembers or it is just for storytelling purposes?
