Do you remember the early days of the Sacramento Natural Foods Co-op?

I've sort of committed to a post describing its early history from my perspective. I joined around 1987. It has gone through many, many changes since then. Yesterday someone posted to r/Sacramento showing a $29 price for a carton of cut fruit weighing less than a pound and a half. I wad shocked. Who pays that?

Are there any decent senior apartments in Sacramento--for people who don't yet need (and can't afford) assisted living, but would like organized activities and interaction with people their own age?

Question says it all. Central city or north area would be a plus.
