Spouse only thinks about herself

So like the title says my spouse (28F) only thinks about herself. We are supposed to be saving up money for her green card expenses which is going to be about $2500. She wanted to her feet and hands done and I thought she would at least pay for it, showed up to the nail salon and it was $145. She proceeded to just stand there till I took out my wallet to pay. I ended up telling her in the truck that it was very expensive and we are suppose to be saving up money. She proceeds to throw a fit that last week I charged her the $90 eyelashes she got done, her $87 she spent at skims and I didn’t even charge her the $40 at bath and body she spent or the $150 she sent to her mom in her native country of Mexico.

She got mad today because I told her no when she asked if we could go watch the World Cup game with her friends at this local bar. How can I talk to her about saving? How do I know when just to realize we are very different and call it quits? It seems like she expects her money to be hers and the money I make for us.

We have a joint account but I had to stop using it because she would use whatever I deposited on her purchases she would make. I feel very frustrated and when I was single I never had a problem saving or anything.

Hired on for flatbed job

Got hired on for a flatbed job which is paying 25% gross of whatever the truck makes. It’s a w2 job that pays weekly and will have me home every weekend. Is 25% good ? I was seeing most companies pay 30% but you stay out minimum 3 weeks. This is for a small company with 6 trucks in my home state of Oklahoma. The owner said his trucks gross 8k+ weekly

What’s the biggest mistake you’ve done in trucking ?

What’s the biggest mistake that has happened to you in your trucking career ? I think for me was once when I was working in west Texas hauling a pneumatic delivering cement to drill rig sites, I was coming back with a empty trailer and they had a pre loaded one, I went dropped off the old one and backed up into the new one.

It was maybe 100 degrees outside, I was tired, sweaty and pissed off lol. I backed up into the loaded trailer (pause) and sat in my truck doing my paperwork. My truck had this issue that the handle would sometimes lock after you dropped a trailer off and I completely forgot. After 15-20 min of paperwork I got down, connected my lines and proceeded to drive off😢

I remember looking back and the trailer slid off but it landed on the frame, I thought I could save it and I backed up and just made it worse 🫩the legs bent forward, I got down to look at the damage and dropped to my knees. They ended up transferring the cement over to a new trailer, boss called me asking what happened. I explained to him and he said ok just make sure it doesn’t happen again. Now every time I hook up to a trailer or at a fuel island, I check my damn fifth wheel. Lesson learned.

Saving after getting married

My spouse who used to live in Mexico officially came to live with me in January of this year. Before she came I was easily able to save money up from my check and never was left without any money after paying all my bills. I fully furnished my apartment my myself, would go on vacations, gave my sons mom her money for my son. Now that my wife moved in (who is not my son’s mom) I am having trouble saving. I don’t have problem paying my bills, I always pay them on time but I am practically left with nothing at the end and that just stresses me out. I make about $2k a week net, and my wife makes about $1000 every 2 weeks. What am I doing wrong ? We have stopped eating out during the week to save money and only do that on sundays now after church. We try to buy groceries at the cheapest places and I don’t even spend money on myself like I used to. Has anybody else had this problem ?

I have 2 jobs that I am in debate of

Job #1: west Texas cement pneumatic driver, average of $2400-2800 per week. 3 weeks out/1 week home.

Job #2: job in my home state, home every other day and home every weekend. Dry van making about $1600-2000 a week.

What would you guys lean more towards ? I’ve already done the pneumatic job before. Old boss called me saying he needed a driver and if I was interested. My brother works at job #2 and his boss asked if I wanted to go drive for him. Home time does sound good 🤷‍♂️but also job #1 is way less driving. Maybe about 6 hours of driving. They are short 1 hour to 1.5 hour drives in west Texas. Taking one full week off straight also does feel good

So I’m 27M and I met my now wife 27F through instagram. She’s from Mexico and around the time I met her she got her visa and she came down here. We kicked it off and got along good. I asked her to come down here and she came to my apartment and we ended up getting married and talked about giving her a green card. She’s been here a couple months now and everything is fine. I work out of town, she stays in my apartment and she gets along with my family. Never had any suspicions of her talking to other guys or anything.

I got a request in instagram of a private account asking for my number, I ignored it for about a week till on the description it said message me it’s about (my wife’s name) I got curious and did they claim to be an ex boyfriend of hers from Mexico. He showed me screenshots of a conversation on Facebook messenger with a profile that has her name and profile picture where she talks about that she loves him and that I am an idiot and she only came down here to the green card and once she gets it that she’ll give him a green card too and bunch of stuff like that.

I saved all those screenshots and send them to her. The “ex boyfriend” that messaged me said she’s going to deny everything and say it’s a lie but don’t fall for it like I fell for her lies. I only told you because I feel bad the way she expresses herself about you. She obviously denied everything and said it has to be a profile using her name and photos cus she would never say those things and she doesn’t know who it is. I would assume if she did send those messages she would know exactly to who she sent it to. The person did tell me to not give her his number.

I’m now stuck between believing her or believing these screenshots which does have her name and photo and details about me such as what I do for work because on the screenshots she said “I was never home since he’s a truck driver” which I am a truck driver. Should I believe her? The screenshots look like they are her profile but some things don’t add up. I am going to have her call the number that texted me once I get back to my apartment. What do you guys think? Should I leave her and send her back to Mexico and end it ?

UPDATE: one of the screenshots said this person saw her mom and they talked for a bit. He said that her mom told him “she’s only down there to get what she wants, she’s always complaining about him” she asked her mom if she saw any of her exes or friends and her mom said no. She showed me the screenshot of her and her moms conversation but idk 🤷‍♂️

UPDATE #2: she has told me to not give her green card, to not put in the application that she is going to leave. That those messages are fake and it’s not her and she’s fine with me not believing her. That she will leave on her own and buy her own ticket

UPDATE #3: I told this person to show me a screenshot of her profile to see it’s really hers. He claims he doesn’t have Facebook only messenger and can’t show me. I know her profile is locked because my brother showed me. 🤷‍♂️she is still denying it and said she has nothing to be worried about because those messages aren’t her
