Automatic door on a run?

Has anyone installed an automatic coop door on a chicken run? I think I’ll have to install a piece of wood across the hardware cloth and cut a hole through it.

I need one because my chickens hate the run lol they want to free range all day.

How to enable lid to automatically open again

I had to get a replacement remote online and ever since I put it near the toilet it has stopped automatically opening and closing the lid. Can’t figure out how to fix this. I tried unplugging and replugging in the toilet. Any ideas?
