there were so many bigger chunks of the cactus laying around but this is the only one that fit my pocket😆
i’m planning on just chucking the cactus into some dirt, but idk if you can tell from this pic, it has like some holes on both sides, is that gonna be an issue?

Hi guys my bf picked up this calathea ornata from lowe’s about a month or two ago and I offered to take care of it bc he doesn’t have much experience taking care of plants
I watered it with a very diluted fertilized water and then realized after a week that the soil is still PRETTY moist. Worried about root rot I wiggled it out of the dirt some to let the roots dry out, but I think I let it dry out too much because the leaves all shriveled up like you can see in the pictures attached, so I watered it hoping it would perk back up but it hasn’t😭😭😭😭😭😭😭
It’s under a grow light for 9 hours a day, I was planning on planting it back into some better draining soil but didn’t have the substrates on hand so I loosely planted it back in the same soil🤕I don’t think I see any pests on her but maybe I’m just not seeing them??
