Archer handstand pushup progression 185cm 83kg

Hi guys, I’m a few months into bulking and up 7kg in body weight so I was thrilled to unlock this new skill randomly after gaining a fair bit of weight and not practicing calisthenics as often as I used to.

I know it’s not a true archer handstand pushup as my other arm isn’t kept fully straight, but I guess it’s a good earlier progression of it that I will work on until I’m capable of doing a real archer handstand pushup.

I just tried it on a whim mostly expecting to full flat on my face, so when I got it on my third attempt I was very surprised and joyful. I’ve added the two seperate reps I did, I think the form is a bit better on the first one.

Thanks for watching!

M26 185cm tall 70kg - 83kg

22 months progress, first photos were when I had already been training for a year and second photos were recent. First year was just calisthenics, mostly handstand pushup variations and second year was lifting weights also, just free weights no cables or machines, mostly things like squats, bench press, deadlifts, log press, atlas stones, rows, weighted pull ups etc

Didn’t really take nutrition seriously until recently which I regret and I’m sure I could have made more progress if I did but oh well you live and you learn. Went into an untracked surplus in the past 3 months and pushed from 77kg-83kg, have another 7kg to go until I hit my goal weight of 90kg.

Guess my bodyfat%

185cm roughly 78kg in photos.

I get quite visible definition in deltoids and triceps but also don’t have particularly shredded abs.

I have my own thoughts on what % I am but would love to hear others opinions

26kg weighted handstand pushup.

10kg & 2.5kg on front and back + vest itself weighs 1.6kg. Really wanted to nail a 31kg PR but since I started bulking I’ve given up on that goal for a while, will set my eyes on it again once I’ve cut.
