I prefer the acog because of its familiarity but I know trijicon has some cooler stuff like the ta47 which I’m less familiar with. Limited space on the rail so I’m leaning to either red dot or holo, something simple and fun at the range.

Newer colt upper and barrel, p&s hand guard, poverty pony lower, magpul stock. I built this rifle as a gift for him for his 21st bday back in April.

Edit: budget is around $800. Open to any suggestion though, lucrative summer.
