My dog died of heart failure this morning

Hi, my dog was 13. She was throwing up a little over the past few days, and I noticed twice her breathing being a little weird. It was never consistent and she seemed totally normal in general. I didn’t think much of it; she was old and she likes to eat grass - and I know dogs do that when they have an upset belly and want to throw up, but she did this ALL the time, so I thought she just did it because she’s silly and in return threw up a lot.
I woke up and when I went to leave for work, she kept gagging and trying to throw up and was having really rapid breathing. She was being so weird. So I took her to the hospital, she held on the entire morning and drive there but then stopped breathing when the docs took her back and she passed. It felt so random. I just feel so bad because she seemed so scared. When I look back on the video I took of her, I thought she was trying to act like she was okay and just wanted to be near me, but she looked so scared. I feel so horrible. I don’t want to think it’s my fault, but I just feel really bad and upset for her. Thank you

Bubble in both legs when running

23 F, 5’1” about 167 lbs. no medication. All my life whenever I crouch or squat I notice I get these like… vein bubbles or something on my shins. Whenever I go on a run (which is not a lot because I’m out of shape lol) they seem to pop up on my legs and I’m wondering if it’s normal or a sign of something else?
I get them on both legs but I can only post one picture

Zero drop shoes are no joke

I’ve always hiked in hiking boots but wanted to get trail runners as a lot of people use them since they dry a lot faster if they get wet and are lighter.
So I did.
And I decided to say F it and go immediately to zero drop shoes (altra lone peak 9+). I read a lot of articles and I DID know that they can cause pain because your foot is in its natural flat position rather than elevated, and it’s not what you’re used to, but damn.

I’m supposed to go on my first backpacking trip in a month so every weekend I’ll try and go out with all my gear on a higher elevation trail so I can get used to it. I literally couldn’t this time.
I went up about .3 miles, stopping every few steps until I turned around and put my bag back In my car and decided to just get myself used to the shoes first LOL

I transitioned from quad pain from uphill to my calves killing me. I don’t know which one I prefer. Safe to say I’ll be wearing my boots because I probably won’t be able to handle those shoes that soon

Laptop isn’t charging

Hi. I’m trying to get rid of an old laptop. It’s an Acer Predator. It’s at least 9 years old. It’s a nice laptop, but I want to give it away.
The graphics card is a 1060.. that’s how old.
The graphics card isn’t updating but that’s the least of my worries as I’ve realized -

The laptop will only work when plugged in, but the battery isn’t charging. The second it’s unplugged it’s dead, but I’ve had it in the charger for about half an hour and it says it’s at 0%.
I assume it’s the battery because clearly the charger has to be working? Am I right?
Thanks!
