Looking to get this vintage barn light separated from its original hardware so I can rewire - need advice

Any ideas on how to separate the shade from the original socket? I’ve tried lithium lubricant and twisting hard holding the top with a wrench and the bottom with pliers but it won’t budge. Does anyone have experience with one of these or have any ideas to try? I got it from a salvage shop that said to bring it back if I can’t get it off but I’d love to make it work.
