If it may please the Court..

I, Albus Dumbledog, have been wronged!

My mother did not serve me dinner until 7:57 pm tonight! I ask you hold her in contempt until substantial reparations are made, and here's why:

I have only one meal a day - yes, my food bowl is always full so I may "graze" through the night/day, but if a pup is only allowed 7/8ths a cup of prescription kibble a day, they should stretch it out, right?

So I am given my nightly dinner every night at 7:30 pm, which I eat half or so of, and almost never eat any other kibble all day long - I have the option to "graze," but choose not to.

Well, except for Fridays.

Now, my opponent will point out that today is a Friday and that on Fridays, I go to work with her. I don't sleep all day in her (our) bed while she works from home like every other day, because on Fridays, I instead have to ride in the car for an hour, ride the elevator, walk at least two whole hallways, and only then do I get to sleep under her desk all day! (Except for when people come in, I must protect and be rewarded with pets for my security detail, right?) And then I have to wake up AND do it all in reverse at the end of the day! So as a result, I usually eat some kibble during the day on Friday. But that's because I work up an appetite!

My mom, I mean my opponent, will say that today (Friday), I had first breakfast, second breakfast, and lunch! She will tell you that this was a lot of "grazing" and claim that after lunch, I had already eaten the 7/8 a cup of kibble the vet says I should be limited to eating each day!! But is that valid reason for serving - my very small, I might add - dinner 27 minutes late?!?!

Ladies and gentlemen on the jury, I ask you to decide - should my opponent be held in contempt until satisfactory reparations are made (and you the jury should decide what those reparations would be)? Or was she simply, as she claims, being a good dog mom trying to make sure I didn't eat so much that I'd throw up, since I'm already a sensitive-stomach-prescription-only-diet kind of guy?
