Ontario and Alberta governments announce proposed west-east pipeline ending in Sarnia.

The route would remain entirely within Canada and would be built using Canadian steel. Hopefully if built it will reduce dependency on Line 5 that runs through America. IMHO, a pipeline that supplies 55% of Ontario’s crude oil and 100% of jet fuel to Toronto Pearson Airport should be entirely in Canada.

Highway 402 westbound has been closed between Oil Heritage Road and Mandaumin Road for ‘extended period’ due to unsafe road conditions.

Const. Chris Ciliska told CBC Windsor that the affected section of the highway is “expected to be closed for [an] extended period for resurfacing.”

Hello from Sarnia, Ontario! On this evening’s local news they mentioned the current temperature in Saskatoon was 91°F/34°C. That’s pretty hot for a place where air conditioning isn’t widely used. Are you guys ok? :)
