Drybox 2.0 problems

I bought a drybox 2.0 new about 3 weeks ago. Last night I set it to 65c for 6 hours to dry some petg. Woke up this morning and the display is messed up and the fan sounds louder than usual when I turn it on. It’s pretty much impossible to set an accurate temp or time now as the display just freaks out when turning the dial. I have tried unplugging it and waiting and plugging it back in and the issue persists. Kind of mad I even bought this thing since they just released the spacepi se for the same price which is apparently improved

Stock runout sensor

Is there any way to improve the stock runout sensor so it doesn’t have so much resistance pushing/pulling filament through it? I have it bypassed at the moment which cleared up a lot of extruder issues I was having. But I would like to use it again. Unfortunately I have the newer k1 max 2025, which from my research I can’t root, and wouldn’t be able to utilize a 3rd party runout sensor like on the dxc extruder. Anybody have any insight into this? Thanks!

Bowden Tube routing

Just curious to see how people have routed their ptfe tubes. I bypassed the runout sensor and removed the tube from the clip closest to the tool head and it has solved a lot of issues! But now my tube is a bit saggy where it bypasses the runout sensor. I typically feed my k1 max straight from a creality dry box 2.0.

Would love to see your routing set ups! Any good stls for external Bowden tube support that helps?

Top layer issues

I’m printing with creality CR silk with cr silk settings in creality print. My prints look amazing except the very tip top layers never look as smooth as the rest of the print. Any tips to dial this in?

Filament loading tips

Hey guys, I’m completely new to 3d printers and got a new K1 Max for my first printer. It has been printing great so far once I get loaded. But any time I change filament I usually run into an issue with extruding the new filament and it takes a while of messing with it to get it extruding again. What are the proper steps for changing filament? Crealitys instructions don’t say anything about the unlock lever, should I be unlocking and locking each time? And do I need to push the filament with a lot of force to get it into the extruder gears?

Thanks for any help!
