Pet Carrier Policy

Hi everyone. I am starting to have a mini freak out because my flight is tomrrow and I got an email about the dimensions for the pet carrier being 8”H x 14”W x 18”L. However, all the websites are saying 18”L x 12”W x 11”H. I believe there was a recent change to the dimensions for soft carriers to be 18”L x 12”W x 11”H now but I have been reading posts about being denied at the gate because the carrier was too tall and not 8" tall. Has anyone recently traveled with a pet with the carrier dimensions 18”L x 12”W x 11”H? I tried chatting with the agents and they just regurgitate what the website is saying which is 18”L x 12”W x 11”H but no one can acknowledge if there was a recent change from the 8”H x 14”W x 18”L dimesions to the 18”L x 12”W x 11”H.

Car buying guidance

Hi everyone. I am about to graduate from my residency program and start my career in California. I will be moving without my current car since I will sell it to a family member and I plan to purchase a car once I reach California.

My concern at this time is that this will be my first time financing a car (so I don't know a lot about this) and that I am starting at a new job I don't have recent paystubs to provide proof of income to be pre-approved for an auto loan through the dealership or credit union. I can't really use my income from residency since I am looking to finance a $55k-65k car (my income at my new job will be about 4x more than my residency income so making payments will not a concern). I also don't know if adding a cosigner would help my situation because my cosigner makes about how much my residency income is.

Is there anything I can do to be approved for an auto loan before I can collect a paycheck like present my signed contract? I really don't want to rent a car for more than a few days if I don't have to but I have no idea how long it will take for me to collect my first paystub and I need to be able to commute to work. Any advice on how to navigate this situation would be much appreciated.
