K-70 aperture solenoid issue comes and goes?
I bought a K-70 with the 18-135mm in great condition a couple of weeks ago. The first day I tested it, it looked to be working normally, but when I picked it up again a few days later all my pictures were extremely underexposed. I got a few good shots again after shooting in burst mode or doing the RAW/Fx button optical exposure check trick but the aperture issue returned. I let the seller know who told me it was working fine when they tested it but was willing to take it back. I sent it back and today he sent me a video where the camera is again working fine? Could it be that taking the battery out for a couple of days demagnetises the solenoid enough for it to work normally again for a while? I'm probably going to still ask for the refund and look for a KP but the camera was in such good condition with only 3000 shutter count. I also have a K-x that could donate a solenoid but not sure it's worth risking breaking something and losing the $600.
