Thoughts on these levels ?

Hi all. We usually keep the basement windows open just to get some fresh air because we work out maybe 3 to 4 hours weekly. Have a walk out basement. it was so humid, turned on the dehumidifier and shut the windows. Levels are much higher in the last two days since I did that.
Even with the windows closed in the winter, it wasn't as high. I have a Boiler in the basement, not sure if that affects it or not.

If creatine made it worse for you...

If creatine worsened your PVCs, how long did it take them to go away after you stopped? Mine were pretty much gone for two years. I started taking creatine, 5 g daily and then after three weeks they started up again. Very frustrating. Not sure if they're connected but I'm stopping to creatine just in case.

How does this day trip look?

Hi all! Planning a day trip from Avila beach hotel to Grote knip. How does this look for a plan?

What a great day trip you've got ahead — Grote Knip is absolutely worth the drive. Note that it's officially called Grote Knip (or Playa Kenepa Grandi) — "Grote Kip" isn't the standard name you'll find on signs, so use Grote Knip / Kenepa for GPS. Here's a great route with stops along the way:

1. Curaçao Liqueur Distillery — right near Willemstad, a quick and fun stop to see how the famous Blue Curaçao is made. There's a bar for tastings and a gift shop. Open Mon–Fri 8am–5pm.

2. Jan Kok Salt Pans & Flamingos — watch for signs to Jan Kok along the road — there's an old salt plantation and most of the time a lot of flamingos feeding in the salt ponds. It's a free roadside pullover, no facilities, but totally worth a 15-minute stop.

3. Shete Boka National Park — the park protects 10 kilometers of Curaçao's dramatic, wave-battered north coast, featuring impressive limestone cliffs, hidden coves, and powerful blowholes. The name means "seven mouths" in Papiamentu, referring to the various bays where seawater pounds against the rocks and sprays meters into the air. Budget 1.5–2 hours here. Entry ~$15, open 9am–5pm. Bring sturdy shoes and water.

4. Playa Lagun — a sheltered cove just before the Knip beaches, highly rated for snorkeling with colorful fish and the occasional sea turtle. Free parking, small and intimate feel. Arrive early for a chair.

5. Manor Knip (Landhuis Knip) — a historic plantation house tied to the 1795 Tula Rebellion, a pivotal moment in Curaçaoan history. Open Tue–Sun 10am–2pm.

6. Kleine Knip — right next to Grote Knip, less crowded, same gorgeous turquoise water and excellent snorkeling. Worth a quick swim before the main event.

7. Grote Knip — you park, walk a few steps, and the whole beach opens up below you — the water starts bright turquoise near the shore and fades into deeper blue farther out. Walk the overlook first for the famous view before heading down. Food trucks on site, chairs ~$5. Arrive before 10am if you want a quiet spot.

A few practical tips: leave the Avila early (by 8am), and consider going to Shete Boka first since it opens at 9am and gets hot later. The whole route is about an hour's drive from Willemstad, so a rental car is really the way to go.

Help with Itinerary

Hi all, going to be staying at the Avila for a week in July. So basically I have 6 days to figure out what we are doing. We definitely want beach and pool time at the hotel most days, but also want to explore the beaches around the island. We snorkel, but no scuba; prefer snorkeling from the shore. Do people usually visit more than one beach a day? Which beaches should we definitely not miss? Tugboat is on the list. I also want to check out the flamingos at some point. Just having a hard time figuring out what to do day to day. Thank you!

Toys that keep her occupied

Hello! I am looking for toys or anything that would keep my six-year-old Maltese busy while I'm not home. It might just be her personality, but she shows no interest in them when I'm not home . I have to watch the treat factor because of her weight. But I would love for her to not just lay in one spot and wait. Thank you.

Restaurants with Teen

Hello! This sub has been so helpful in planning our trip to Curacao in mid July. We will be with a picky eater teen, staying at Avila. We will have a car. So far I've got reservations at Kome, Rozendaels, Mi Familia, Sal the Kitchen, and Koke. We will be there for 7 nights. I don't know if I am going overboard with so many reservations. I have Brgr Hausa Kura and Pasawa box eatery as options as well. Any recommendations would be appreciated!
