My son is starting nursery soon so I need to start looking for work.
I was hoping for something I can do from home but just don’t know where to look.
I personally think indeed is pretty crap so I was wondering if you guys knew of anyone hiring a wfh position that I can apply straight from their website or if there were sites better than indeed to have a look through?

I buy Nintendo online as and when I have the money to do so. There could be a few months at a time that I don’t have the online subscription.

I haven’t yet ventured into codes for pathways etc because I’m unsure if they would just disappear when my subscription ends and I don’t want to waste time making things look good for it all to go once my subscription ends.
Essentially my island is not at all how I want it because I can’t use codes and stuff like that (I still have a lot of YouTube videos to watch to help me understand them but I’ve never bothered because I’ve been worried it could be deleted).

Can any of you lovely lot answer this for me please?

Can anyone please explain to me why, when leaving the roost after a coffee, did Timmy/Tommy walk in, have a bit of dialogue with me and Rooster and then walk out?😂😂 I genuinely thought something interesting was about to happen but nope!

Never seen this in my years of playing (although I am a lot slower than most of you!) and I’ve never seen anyone post about it.

Has anyone had any experience in fitting safety catches for velux windows?

I live in a second floor flat and keep having very nasty intrusive thoughts on what would happen if my toddler were to fall so I’m looking for some really good safety catches.

If anyone has tried and tested any I would be really grateful if you could share!

My son has just turned 2y8m and used to wake up in the best mood every day.
Recently he’s been waking up and demanding to watch trains without even saying hello. When I tell him no (we don’t watch tv in the mornings and I banned trains/youtube weeks ago) he will go absolutely mental. Screaming as high pitched as possible, not wanting to be touched or calmed down, hiding from us etc.
His dad tried to say goodbye to him this morning and he screamed ‘NOOO!’, pushed him away and threw himself to the floor.
That’s obviously upsetting as a parent and doesn’t set anyone up for a good day.

We live in a small flat block and I’m concerned it may be waking up our neighbours because it is THAT loud.
A couple of mornings ago he was in my bedroom screaming into the floor. I’m fairly sure our neighbour (who already blames every single noise in the block on us) has her bedroom directly under mine. When I would remove him, he’d run straight back to the same spot to scream into the floor. Nothing I say or do will calm him down. It’s only him getting distracted by a toy or something that stops the tantrum.

This morning I said to him ‘do I need to put you in a time out already?’ and he ran away but calmed down not long after that. He’s then his usual happy, funny, silly self.
Is this what I need to do going forward? Time out literally first thing in the morning seems a bit harsh but I’m at a loss here.

Hey gang, I have nothing to say other than how annoyed I am that for 7 months I’ve been trying to breed a blue rose. I’ve also been trying for 7 months to find my final fossil. I’M SO ANNOYED!😭😭

Thanks to Dad (happy Father’s Day!😂) our 2.5yo is obsessed with YouTube. I’ve always been pretty strict on what I let him watch but he’s been introduced to YouTube and I want to make sure that what he’s watching isn’t ’brain rot’.

He loves a channel called ‘Toy Trains 4 U’ where they make up stories with Thomas trains and various different characters which I *think* is okay and I’ve noticed a big difference in his imaginative play since watching it.

We are currently watching someone make playdough ice creams and pretend play shop. She’s counting coins to ‘pay’, explaining fruits, doing fractions etc so on the surface it seems alright but I don’t really want him watching it if it’s something that’s going to become addictive.

Does anyone have experience with videos like this? What’re your thoughts?

My 2.5yo is absolutely obsessed with taking and looking at photographs. I’d like to get him his own camera for his birthday but don’t want to end up with something rubbish.

I’m obviously after something toddler friendly but something that has a screen that he’s able to scroll through his photos on. I also don’t have a huge amount of money to spend.

Has anyone got any recommendations please?

I’m feeling pretty stuck and bored in the game at the moment because I’m just not enjoying how my designs are turning out.

Can everyone please drop pictures of their outdoor cafes in the comments?
I hate how mine has turned out, specifically the counter/kitchen area and I’d love to get some inspiration from you guys!
