Hello, I am the first homeowner in my family and need advice. Any help appreciated.

I've been in my home 18 months. My furnace is 10+ years old. Wisconsin is going through a heat wave, and my AC/fan is not working. Someone quoted me that I have a weak blower on my furnace. I was quoted $1,200 to repair. I will get a second quote today. I don't remember him going outside to look at my AC unit. What would you do in my position?

I don’t know if I'm just hot and trying to repair. Should I replace? Should I get multiple quotes?
