how are you spending your weekends?

given the weather- hot /sunny in the morning and hot/raining in the afternoon, i’m curious to know, how are you spending your weekends?

i am a fairly active person, hiking, walking around, cycling for hours, discovering new streets. i don’t like malls and crowded places, but this weather is making my options of things to do quite limited. any suggestions?

i must say, the weather defeated me.

my brother first solo trip.

my 40-year-old brother just completed his first solo trip, and as someone who has been traveling solo for years, I couldn’t be prouder.

he told me this was how he wanted to celebrate turning 40—to experience the freedom of traveling alone. I shared advice here and there, but for the most part, I let him find his own way and make his own decisions. After all, that’s part of the journey.

he’s quiet soul, sometimes a little too trusting, so of course I worried. But watching him return with stories, confidence, and a smile reminded me that some lessons can only be learned by stepping into the unknown.

i hope this is only the first of many solo adventures. May they bring him not only to beautiful places, but also to meaningful encounters—with people, with the world, and with himself.

he’s a proof that solo travel has no age limit. It isn’t about how old you are; it’s about when you’re ready to take that first step.

for a very long time, i avoided investing on a condo instead purchase house and lot at suburbs, but i also cannot deny the fact the convenience of condo living, the travel time and amenities.

so i started looking around and all agents i spoke with told me that most of the RFO properties are now selling below market value, from 6M to 4M as an example.

looking at some properties around MOA.

i am overseas based so i don’t really know what is true. care to inform me if condo are really below market value or these are just selling tactics?
