Hey guys, 2014 sierra. Got a p0306 this past Tuesday driving to work. Long story short, after failed attempts of fixing the code and finally pulling the valve cover the intake rocker isnt moving... must be a dreaded collapsed afm lifter.

So im thinking I'll do the btr truck Norris kit afm delete. Im looking for help on creating a list of the particulars that are needed to do the job not included in the kit. Im talking about lubes, fluids, accounting for breaking or damaging hardware on disassembly, anyrhing anyone with experience can offer. Even the smallest simplest little things, ive been stressed out about this as this is my only vehicle at the time and need to get this job done asap so my head has been spinning trying to plan this out while dealing with working 6 days a week running my team.

Any pointers you can think of would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

2014 sierra 5.3. Afm is disabled, no ticks or knocks.

While driving yesterday going up an incline I felt it kind of bogging down so I gave it a little more pedal, didnt floor it just gave it some extra. It picked up, but then I got a ce and stabilitrak light simultaneously, ce is constantly flashing and stabilitrak is steady on.

Scanned it when I got to where I was going, p0306, cylinder 6 misfire. Immediately replaced coil without any further diag. Didn't fix it. Today, swapped plug, wire and coil with cylinder 4 and misfire is still in 6. Whats my next step? Compression check?
