M1025 - First Car
I found a running car once early on near the coast in my early days of playing dayz, having no context for how hard they are to find.
Ended up leaving it or losing it…. Barely remember.
Last night my wife and I stumbled on a nearly complete and pristine M1025.
We hid it and continued on our journey and promptly died to wolves.
This morning starting on the coast I found a new charged battery and ran all the way back to it with a Jerry can full of fuel.
Just need a glow plug now. I have one at a stash way south - but hoping to find another one without that trek.
I’ve read a bit but want some updated info.
Are they still broken? Gearbox issues?
How often do cars float away like in the reels I see?
Can I take it on trails?
How do I stash it?
If I’m careful is it useful for base building?
