Intermittent brake light flashing

Hi all,

Bit of a weird issue with my 2018 Peugeot 308 (LHD, Spanish vehicle), randomly the brake lights will flash or stay on whilst I’m not braking. It’s really random when this will happen, as on some journeys it will be completely fine and on other journeys it will happen constantly. I can only tell it’s happening if I’m driving at night as I can see the top brake light turning on (video attached you can see I’m going forward and the brake light is turning on).

I thought it could be the Brake Light Switch, but it being fine on some journeys and happening on others made me not sure. I also can’t seem to find it on my LHD model 😅

When I bought the car, the rear windscreen wasn’t fitted properly so I’m worried water might have gone into the brake light and could cause this too? I’m not sure if it’s just the top one or all three at the moment.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance

Gerbil Cage / Care Advice

Hi all!

My partner and I are thinking about getting 2 Gerbils (males) as our first pet - I’m really trying to inform myself to give them the best care possible, starting with the cage.

I’ve found the attached online, and it looks to be a good measurement (slightly short of the 100cm minimum), but good height and width too, and wanted opinions on if it’s a good one? I would prefer to buy right and buy once, so looking at the best options particularly to fit in with space as we live in a flat (realistically don’t think we could go much bigger).

Our first thought was to put the cage in our living room, but it would be next to the Alexa and TV - we don’t often play music through the Alexa (sometimes) but I’m worried about the loud noises and flashing lights from the TV as well - would this startle them? The other option we have is in our home office, on a separate desk. I work from home so I will be in there all week, but I’m worried about them not feeling “part of the family” particularly during weekends as we don’t use that room on the weekends. We could set up a small playpen in the lounge on the floor for evenings / weekends when they’re more comfortable with us (and allow holding / carrying) for an hour or so of play / interaction - is this realistic and better than having them in the living room if the lights / noises would startle them?

If there’s anything else we should know please do say! We live in Madrid, so they should be okay with the heat (we do have AC as well). We’re hoping they will be pretty low maintenance (spot cleaning 1/2 x week, deep clean 1 x month, daily food, water, interaction etc), but we’re hoping they’ll be friendly and comfortable enough in the future to chill with us on the sofa for example, is that realistic/possible with Gerbils?

Thanks in advance for your advice! :)
