My lil' setup and how I use it 🥲.

This is so neat, we really are living in the future.

I can use a wireguard server on my wifi 7 router to connect to my home network with my cellphone on 5G, far away from home, and remotely turn on my computer with a wake on lan package from my router, log into my computer through steam link, and stream the games into a big screen right in front of my face with surprisingly little lag and impressive image quality.

Also if you haven't yet, try the virtual boy core on retroarch with both the core and glasses set to half sbs and the core set to full aspect ratio. It's great!

Request: Allow us to set screen sizes on the quick button shortcut.

Hello. I would like it for it to be possible for me to save a screen size smaller than the default to the top quick button, for when I need to absolutely see all four corners at once without moving my eyes too much. Thanks!

If follow mode is crooked but anchor isn't, does it mean my face is crooked?

Hey everyone, I prefer follow mode but it's crooked (right side of screen is slightly lower), I'm guessing it's "following" the crookedness of my face, if anchor mode looks straight? I've re calibrated the glasses multiple times on a flat surface and I've checked that the the surface is flat with the iPhone measuring/level app, but follow mode is still crooked. The glasses are working correctly if anchor looks straight right? Just want to make sure it's my face and not the glasses. I'm on the 1S if it matters.

Possible for Xreal to add side view as a shortcut?

You guys think it's possible for Xreal to add side view as a shortcut to glasses with the X1 chip? I mean... I know it's "possible" but can we petition for it and make them aware this would be a good feature? going all the way to the menu is very cumbersome and I would like to enable side view by holding the top button.

My usage of the frame was mostly going to be in home streaming so I decided to get an Xreal 1s, and I don't think I want the frame anymore.

Hey everyone, I've wanted to get out of the meta ecosystem for a while but hardware wise they can't be beat, I mean, even the frame will just have black and white pass through. Anyway, since the quest 3 can't do 120hz in home streaming for flat games (only does 120 hz VR games for whatever reason), I was looking into the frame and would have probably gotten it like I got the steam controller. However, I got tired of waiting and yesterday I got a pair of Xreal 1s (I got this model specifically because it's lightweight which is my main complaint of VR goggles, and because I realized that I wouldn't be able to lay in bed with the frame because the components would be there in the way) and I am impressed. At first I was disappointed at how hot they were but I switched to the largest nose pad and now I can't feel the heat anymore. They are really light compared to a VR headset and do 120hz. They can't do 120hz with the iPhone as it's locked at 60hz when outputting a signal, but the glasses are OLED and they still look amazing. I actually much rather do in home streaming from my iphone to the glasses than from my laptop that can do 120hz to the glasses because the small size and faster modem (802.11ax) of the iPhone win out of the 120hz and slower modem (802.11ac) of my laptop.

Anyway just throwing this out there as another option if you're tired of waiting and are tired of playing the same VR games over and over and just want to do in home streaming on a head mounted big screen, and want an option you can use in bed while laying down. OLED solves the blurry issue with LCD and 60hz and the glasses take 120hz if you can output it. The glasses also have some cool tech like auto dimming lenses and screen anchoring in space, but you can do your own research on that if your interested.

Just wanted to share, thanks for reading :P
