Gradual Tanning Lotion Tips

For those who are more into the gradual, daily, colorless self tanning lotions, what are your biggest tips and tricks you’ve learned while using it?

I’ve just found I quite like the Luna Bronze Glow one as it’s not sticky feeling on my skin at all so I can comfortably sleep in it. I’ll admit I’m not used to using one of these though. I get that they’re supposed to be more “accidental friendly” because the content of DHA is so much lower, but how are you guys doing your hands? Everything says wash your hands after, but aren’t you just washing the tan off of your hands by doing that? Do you just washing your palms? Or are these formulas so quick absorbing that even if you wash your hands fully you still get some color. Do you still exfoliate and put lotion on your knees, elbows, and ankles??

Hey everyone!! Just looking for recommendations for your favorite non-sticky gradual self tanning lotion (no color guide).

I want a low maintenance gradual, buildable, tanning lotion that I can easily apply before bed a few times a week (or more) and not have to rinse off—it does not have to be an extreme amount of color, but I’m looking for something that is more forgiving, doesn’t streak or require a ton of prep-work, looks natural and most of all IS NOT STICKY! I cannot stand sticky skin, especially while going to bed (when I put my lotion on). I have very oily skin so I have to use light weight moisturizers otherwise I feel like a disgusting grease pit.

I used to use NKDSKN Shower Tan and I LOVED that product because I would never be left with any sticky feeling. I tried St Tropez gradual tan and found that one to be disgustingly sticky (and no amount of baby powder in my knee-pits or elbows would help.
