Building an anti-procrastination app. 10 days from launching on Product Hunt.

Been building in public for the past few months. You Have Time is an anti-procrastination app that connects to your Google Calendar, finds your actual free time, and shows you exactly how long you’ve been avoiding each task.

Key things I learned building this:

  1. Reddit is your best distribution channel before launch

  2. Organic community > paid ads at this stage

  3. Shipping beats perfect every time

Launching on Product Hunt June 1. Would love support from fellow builders. As we know, upvotes and comments make a real difference for indie founders.

I’ll drop the PH link here launch morning. Happy to return the favor.

youhavetime.co if you want to check it out.

Anyone else building something right now? 13 days from launching my first app.

I'm 13 days away from launching something I've been building for months, and I have all the feelings about it.

Some days it feels incredibly empowering. Some days it's discouraging. Some days both.

It's an app called You Have Time. It connects to your Google Calendar, finds your actual free time, and shows you exactly how long you've been avoiding each task on your list. Then helps you do something about it... whether that's doing it yourself, levering AI, delegating it, or booking a service.

I built it for the chronic procrastinator. For people with ADHD who can't start. For moms with too much on their plates and too much guilt about what isn't getting done.

I really believe in what I'm building. And I'd love to connect with other women who know what this journey feels like.

Launching June 1. youhavetime.co if you want to take a look.

Looking for a few people to try my app before I launch — free, no strings

I've been building something for the past two months and I'm launching June 1. Before I do, I want real people to use it and tell me what they actually think.

It's called You Have Time. You connect your Google Calendar, it finds your free time, and shows you how long you've been avoiding each thing on your list. Then it helps you figure out what to do about it. Do it yourself, hand it to AI, delegate it, or book someone else to handle it.

No streaks. No shame. No system to learn. Just honesty about your time. I'm not asking for a formal review or weekly check-ins. Just try it. If something doesn't work or something surprises you, tell me. That's it. You'd be one of the first people to ever use it. I'd be so grateful.

Only thing you need is access to Google Calendar. Drop a comment or DM me if you're in and I'll send you the link directly.

I'm a solo founder and I built this because I kept watching smart, capable people disappear under the weight of tasks that weren't actually that heavy.

The problem it solves: Most people aren't busy...they're avoiding. Maybe it's ADHD and starting feels impossible. Maybe they're overwhelmed and don't know where to begin. Maybe the task has been sitting there so long it's taken on more weight than it deserves. They know exactly what they need to do and still can't start it. Standard productivity apps don't touch this.

What it does: Connects to your Google Calendar, finds your actual free gaps today, and shows you how long each task has been sitting on your list. Then helps you do it, delegate it to AI, hand it off to someone else, or book a service. No judgment. No streak tracking. No gamification. Just honesty about your time and a little help getting unstuck.

Tech stack: Next.js, Vercel, Supabase, Google OAuth, Anthropic API, Resend

Where it's at: V1 built, private beta mid-May, public launch June 1. Waitlist open at youhavetime.co

Built this mostly in the margins of a full time job. Would genuinely love feedback from this community...especially on the delegation angle, which feels like the most differentiated part.

Looking for honest beta testers for You Have Time.

The idea: it connects to your Google Calendar, finds your real free time gaps, and shows you how long you've been avoiding each task on your list. Then it helps you do it, delegate it to AI, hand it off to someone else, or book a service.

It also asks how your energy is before asking you to do anything — because sometimes the most productive thing is admitting you have nothing left.

It's live right now at app.youhavetime.co — just sign in with your Google account. Free to use. Just looking for real feedback from real people.

What's working, what's confusing, what's missing. All of it welcome.
