My sister drew me this

My sister got me Extreme Power Metal on vinyl for my birthday, but it hadn’t been delivered yet, so she drew me this in like 5 minutes as a place holder. Unfortunately the record never showed up, but honestly I love this drawing so much, it’s almost better. (Also I swear my sister is an amazing artist, she just did this as a joke)

My weird weekly recap (I never thought I’d see Inigo Montoya as my top artist.)

I don’t usually care about my weekly recap, but I found my last weeks recap to be particularly funny and wacky. Specifically the differences between the top artists, and the same for the tracks.

Album recommendations? (With a catch)

I need album recommendations, but I’ve already listened to the DF discography. Instead, recommend an album you've listened to that's as far from extreme power metal as possible. I’m really curious to see what you’ll recommend. I’ll listen to anything!

Does anybody else have a movie they don’t like, but can’t help rewatching?

Does this make sense? For me it’s the movie The Green Knight. I didn’t like it the first time I watched it, or the second, or the third. I’ve seen it around 6 times now. Maybe it’s because I love the style of the movie, maybe it’s because I’m returning trying to find more meaning from the story, maybe it’s because it has such a unique and original score. There’s a lot about this movie that is amazing and beautiful and yet I tend to find myself disappointed or dissatisfied at the end. Does anybody else have anything like this? And if so why?

What is a DragonForce concert like?

I got my tickets early and I can’t wait. This is a dream concert for me. I have a bit of social anxiety, I don’t like large crowds or loud noises, I wear noise canceling headphones, and prefer to sit down and far away at concerts. Ironically DragonForce is my favorite band and is one of very few bands that I would consider going to a concert for.

I feel like the excitement and adrenaline of seeing my favorite band live for the first time will definitely help with anxiety, but I’ve also never been to a DF concert, let alone any metal or hard rock concert. I would love to know what I’m getting into, particularly with the crowd/audience.

I genuinely love this band and this community ❤️

In The Tetons

I just bought my first Flip because I wanted to take a Polaroid on my camping trip. I’ve only used the Now before this, and the Flip has been noticeably better! I really love the sonar auto-focus.

This is a list of scary movies that I like as someone who doesn’t like most scary movies. I would really like some suggestions of movies to watch, obviously I prefer thrillers but I love a good horror movie.

What’s you’re favorite off this list? Some years I had barely seen any movies, while others (noteably 2010, and 2016) were stacked with amazing movies. Project Hail Mary is strong but I’m looking forward to The Odyssey, Dune: Part 3, and Wild Horse Nine.
