Trade-in value - 2017 Rogue SV
I couldn't believe it when an official dealer of top-tier Japanese brand offered me $1,500 for a 2017 Rogue SV with 230,000 kms as a trade-in. I understand the value is low with mileage and CVT paranoia, but THAT low? My Rogue drives well, no issues, no CVT jitter or lagging even at this mileage.
Are the used cars no longer valued as donors for other parts?
Or is it just a low-balling tactics?
I'm genuinely looking for some real-life insight to what is the value of our older used cars these days.
