Annoying, stalling, boring boss to fight. Crucible talisman helped I guess, got the kill 3 tries after putting it on. This might just be the most stall I've ever had on a phase 2, the only real punish I think I'm not doing is dodging into the end of the roll attack, but I've tried a lot and cannot get consistent with it.

Just comes out ridiculously fast. I have never died when a boss is low health like this more times than romina, losing my mind this shit is insane
Apart from being closer before the move starts, does anyone know how i could've dodged this attack in this situation? No idea what to do if I'm at range like this and she rolls
Tried iron balls and mantis blade for a while but the damage from the Messmers soldier's axe is just so much better. It might be obvious, but this was like my 5th or so attempt with the axe so I was still learning the punishes, quite a few whiffs. Phase 2 could've been much cleaner.
I was stuck on phase 1 for so many hours trying to learn other strafes and jumps but (especially with the axe) it ended up feeling safer and better to just dodge and R2. The real issue with phase 2 is the pressure, I've never done a fight this long and the hardest part was just keeping concentration. Just like Mohg though, the OST really keeps you going.
Probably Rellana or Midra next up!
Very happy with this, the arena and the fire everywhere were a pain for so long until it just worked out. Got pretty nervy after the last riposte but managed to finish the fight. Such a hype soundtrack helped the grind of this fight too, and it really is a lot of fun (especially with Alabaster Lord Sword). And of course Carian Retaliation helps so much too.
I was planning to do DS3 at +0 but I kept thinking about doing some fights in ER at +0 with no aux, so maybe I'll continue on through the dlc.
