I'm on Levanta and have 300 brand collab invites but no idea how to manage these?!

I joined Levanta with a brand I have apaid partnership with. Since then, about 300 other brands have requested to partner with me. Most of these are gifted collabs that also come with affiliate links and commission potential.

I've only accepted about 15 (I only accept products I would actually use or I think my followers would use). Technically I'm not even obligated to post anything about them but I'm trying to figure out how I can drive traffic to my links without bombarding my followers with too many links and salesy videos.

I know some people post their videos on Amazon too? I haven't figured that one out either.

Do any of use use Levanta as a successful stream of income? Would love to hear how you manage the requests and where you post your links to advertise!

Thank you and Happy Fourth!

Explain licensing to me like I’m 9 yrs old

I made a reel for a brand (gifted collab). They loved it and now want to license it for Google and YouTube ads. We’re working out the pricing but I have questions because this will be my very first paid deal.

  1. Do I send them the actual video file? I assume yes.. but the original directs people to my bio/affiliate link.
    Do I edit and remove that? I assume my link can’t be used in this..

  2. We’re working on a 4 month deal. How do I track whether they actually stop using it after 4 months (if they dont renew.)

  3. I need a contact template for this.. any ideas where I could find one?

You guys are always so helpful… thank you in advance for helping me navigate this!

Update: Closing my first brand deal... I think I'm at the finish line but I have a couple more questions! Help!

Ok, check out my previous post for full story but to make it quick: Brand wants to license my reel for Google and YT ads...

->I offered $1200 for 60 days

->They asked for 12 months

-> I said $4,000 for 12 months

Update below:

-> They initially agreed to the $4k and asked if I'd be willing to include any additional footage in the year deal. I said sure! (I was excited they had agreed lol)

->Now they have asked to move this down to 4 months because their sales are slow in the winter months. And they're still asking about additional footage.

My questions:

  1. My plan is to say $2,000 for 4 months, but not sure how to handle the additional footage request... I had agreed to it when we were discussing 1 year. Should I still include it? Or just include a very small amount?
  2. How do people normally handle payment for this? All up front? I was thinking 50% now and 50% half way through.
  3. Is there a basic contract somewhere I could use for this? Or just ask Claude to create? What are the most important things to include here.

Reminder: they keep mentioning this being a LONG term partnership and they seem really excited.

I think I'm almost there!!

Brand wants to license my video for 1 yr.. Offered me $1200. Still new to this.. how much should I counter!?

Long story short: I was gifted a product in exchange for a reel. That reel has taken off and the brand wants to use it in ads specifically for YouTube and Google campaigns. I had offered them $1200 for 60 days of licensing, they came back and asked for a year for the same price. Obviously I can't agree to this, but what number should I go back with?!

Also, I have an affiliate link. Am I able to ask them to include MY link on their ads so I get the commissions, in addition to them paying me to license it, or is that not how it works? I'm still new to this...

Brand wants to license my video for 1 year - Offered $1200 - Yay or Nay?

Need to send out a brand deal proposal today (MY FIRST ONE) and I think I'm officially in over my head! HELP ME PRICE THIS OUT PLEASE

I've posted several times before and I think this is it... my first real brand deal I may actually be able to close. But I have no idea how to price it out.

I'll try to keep this short: This was a gifted collab and I made a reel promoting their product, and the reel is taking off. They LOVE the video and want to use it for paid ads (Google specifically).

I had a call with their CMO today and he says they don't normally pay influencers (just gifted collabs), because they want things to be authentic BUT they really want my video (lol), so he said to put together a proposal and he will discuss with his partners tomorrow.

Other things he mentioned... they may want me to launch their first ambassador program and have me be the face of their brand, go to conferences, is sending me A BUNCH of other products to try, etc, etc. BUT.. my niche is farming/homesteading. All of the brands I talk to are "small, family owned" so big numbers will surely scare them away.

HELP- NO IDEA WHAT TO DO HERE!

Are there any other Farm/Homesteading/Outdoor/Garden/Pet/Chicken influencers on here? I'm working on closing my first paid brand deal and could use some guidance on pricing! *SLIGHTLY TIME SENSITIVE*

I've posted before and have gotten some pricing ideas from others, but they seem to be in other niches (beauty, fitness, etc.) and I'd really like to chat with people in similar niches!

My current situation...

-I was gifted a product in exchange for a reel. I posted the reel recommending the product and it's really taking off.

-The brand has reached out and asked for permission to run ads, etc. I said they're welcome to share on their page, but ads would be a separate engagement and there would be fees.

-The CMO has reached out to me saying they love the reel and want to use it in "many different ways" and asked to hop on a call, or text (gave me his cell).

-I texted him saying I could hop on a call later this afternoon and to share how he'd like to use the reel so that I can come better prepared to the call.

-He responded saying he wants to run Google ads and more.

Honestly nervous to hop on this call because I'm so NEW to this. I need to prepare and have some pricing in mind and maybe a proposal for more work?! Any advice?!

I posted a while back trying to close my first brand deal but had no idea what to charge (link to my other post HERE)...

With help from all of you, I responded with pricing and they said I'm over their budget. Ok fair enough... but their budget was $200 and they wanted the following:

-1 reel (including scenes from one of my viral reels), plus two additional hooks

-Whitelisting on IG and TikTok for 1 month

I quoted $750 for the reel and two hooks, plus $250 for 1 month whitelisting. Was I way off?

This isn't just a one-off. I have brands reaching out to me weekly but none of them will pay. "We're not doing paid-collabs at this time" I've heard it maybe 10 times now. I even ask what their budget is before saying my fees and they say NO BUDGET right from the start.

Is it me? Did I just choose a cheap niche?! (It's farming/chickens/gardening) My engagement rates are good... but I'm definitely feeling discouraged! I'm a newer creator (just started in Jan.) but have grown from 0-7k followers in that time frame (on IG).

I've done gifted collabs but have been turning them down recently (unless they have a valuable product). Should I be saying yes to the gifted collabs first, then building the relationship up to paid collabs? I feel like I'm shooting myself in the foot saying no, but also these videos take time!

Would love some advice on how I can turn these into paid deals!

Thanks all ❤️
