Osprey Daylite large totepack
What a gorgeous bag!
Love the fabric, the format, the pocket. It is so roomy.
Pic 1: You see the blue fabric on the front of the back. There is a zippered, easily accessible front pocket with a plastik loop as a pull. My index finger slides in easily, my thumb is too big. The pocket is framed by straps. They are in the same brown as the zippers and pulls, which is the tone of brown of a rich peanut sauce. Tasty! All the functional parts, meaning from the zipper pulls, the zippers, the adjustment straps and their clips loops, the lining of the outer stuff pocket. The logo and Daylite branding is the same brown contrasting the blue-greenish turquoise main fabric, which you might see sparkle in a diamond pattern when you zoom in. Beautiful as well as it is good hardware and pocket design.
Pic 2: it is roomy by format. Most of the times I would carry a few books like this plus maybe a second bottle and a pullover. It is perfect and pefectly tidy. You can peek in the open front pocket which is flat and as expansive as the front panel. Inside the bag is lined in a calm blue polyester. This bag is light and big and roomy when packed small.
Pic 3: good look into the front pocket. Here we find an okay-ish clip for keys and room for stuff! I can easily carry everything I need in here plus a lot I need once in a while.
Pic 4: the back side. On it shines another different fabric on which the shoulder straps with cushions and mesh contrast beautifully. And the bottom pocket, where I can carry two changes of clothes and a pair of light shoes comfortably. The shoulder straps are fully adjustable with a chest strap and they are comfortable when packed light. On the later pictures you will see it from a market trip where it would be more comfortable to wear a huge backpack with better cushioning. It barely fits into my average sized basket on the bike on which I will carry it for miles or kilometers in most weathers. We will see...
Last pics: The market trip was nice and this bag feels like a hybrid between handbag tote and ultra light backpack. It is beautiful and stylish and will carry its load gracefully but not without strain on your shoulders if you pack thight and heavy. It can entertain you with layouting your pack to balance it more comfortably. Would pack a helmet gracefully! I think it is a good companion to me right now in this peak european summer between the heat waves.
