Wear and tear around garage doors, what kind of repairs?
I know I can replace the old wood weatherstripping with vinyl, the one jamb with rot definitely needs to be replaced/repaired. But as far as the walls and gaps and whatnot, is that something that a drywall contractor could tackle without removing the (relatively new) garage doors or would that be more of a total frame replacement job?
Also, are doors meant to rest on the slab, or just outside it as mine does?
If I mix pine pellets and corn-based litter, could it lead to issues?
Trying to save a little bit of money and was thinking of mixing them at a ratio of 2:1 (corn:pellet). Obviously this means I can't use a sifting box because the corn litter is going to be sifted with the broken-down pellets, but I'm wondering if this would be an issue? Would the corn litter clump around the pine? Would the pellet dust still hold waste/bacteria and possibly cause health issues?
