Hey r/SpotifyArtists / r/DistroKid,

I’m fucking pissed. I’ve had songs live and doing decent for over 6 months. I ran legitimate Meta (Facebook/Instagram) ads on them. I stopped ads on some songs a month ago, and now those exact songs got removed or greyed out for “artificial streams.”

Meanwhile, the songs I’m still running ads on are still up. Makes no sense.

I re-uploaded two with the same ISRC like DistroKid’s bot told me, but I’m scared they’ll just get taken down again. Lost over 3000 streams already on the ones that got hit.

Is this happening to anyone else? Especially people using Meta ads?

Any advice on how to appeal this shit successfully or avoid it in the future? I’m not using bots — just normal paid promotion.
