Tried to shop in club today. Scanned my card and hit with this renew my membership screen. There is no way to skip it unless you renew it on site. I tried to get assistance and they try to renew it too... WTF? I chatted with advocate, and according to them, it's by design... I have both sam's club and costco. Costco has better quality and better products. The only reason I preferred sam's club is I can just scan it and walk out instead of line up for at least 30 minutes. I was forced to renew today that I really had no choice but drop everything and walk out. Money is not the issue. The experience is. Next year, if this design is still in place. I will never renew again. This bs need to stop.
