Ever argued about NBA lineups with your friends for hours? This game is for you 🏀

I’ve been building a small project called DraftBattle (https://draftbattle.app) and I’m looking for a few basketball fans to test it before launch.

The concept:
You play quick NBA draft battles against real people under random challenges like:
- No MVPs
- 2000s only
- Under 25
- One franchise only
- etc.

But it’s not a free draft.
Every round gives you random teams/positions, so you actually have to build around fit, chemistry, defense, scoring, star power, etc.

After both teams are locked, the game simulates a matchup to decide the winner.

It basically came from all those “who wins this series?” debates with friends 😭

Would genuinely love feedback from NBA fans before we launch early access this week.

Is this the best 5 that ever played with LeBron? What do you think?

Context: this is a game in which you need to pick the five best players under a topic. I got “Lebron’s teammates” just now.
Each round I get a team (eg at PF I got the Lakers, so I could only pick a player from the Lakers that was a teammate of LeBron).

I’m obviously missing here Wade and Bosh, but I was unlucky and couldn’t pick anyone from his time as a villain in Miami.

With no restrictions, my all time five would be:
PG - Irving
SG - Wade
SF - Doncic
PF - Bosh
C - Davis

But massive respect to Big Z

EDIT: the game is Draft Battle (https://draftbattle.app) btw

Let’s try this again, last night was fun. Best team of players that never won a ring 💍 What’s your 5?

NOTE: This game is called Draftbattle - https://draftbattle.app and it was built by a couple of friends of mine who love these discussions (posting here because on the last post I got asked about it).

Context: this is a game in which each round I get a team (eg at PF I got the Mavs, so I could only pick a player from the Mavs that was never a champion)

The game is called Draftbattle - https://draftbattle.app and it was built by a couple of friends of mine who love these discussions (mentioning here because on the last post I got asked about it).

So you could either tell me a better team of players without a ring no restrictions or a better team with the following restrictions:

PG - (LAL)
SG - (NYK)
SF - (NOP)
PF - (DAL)
C - (PHI)

Curious to hear your thoughts on this 🫡

Building a team with no-all stars. What’s the best 5 you can think of?

Context: this is a game in which each round I get a team (eg at PG I got the Grizzlies, so I could only pick a player from the Grizzlies)

I’m curious to hear opinions though as almost all great players were all stars

What if “who built the better NBA team?” was an actual game? I’m building it.

Hey everyone — I’ve been building a small basketball game called DraftBattle over the past few weeks and I’m looking for a few people to help test it before launch 🏀

The concept is basically:
every game gives you a different NBA drafting challenge (2000s only, no All-Stars, under 25, etc.) and you draft a 5-player lineup in quick rounds against another person.

Once both teams are locked, the game simulates a live matchup play-by-play to decide who wins.

It’s heavily inspired by all those “who built the better team?” NBA debates and fantasy draft conversations.

I honestly have no idea yet if this is something people outside my friend group would genuinely keep playing, so I’d really love honest feedback from basketball fans.

Early access starts May 22 and you can be part of it by leaving your info below ⬇️
https://draftbattle.app

The beta will run for around 2 weeks. I’ll also run a small launch tournament for testers with a Giannis tee + basketball for the winners.

Would genuinely appreciate anyone willing to try it 🙏
