Hollywood Bowl to Hollywood/Highland station

Mostly a rant:
Why is Highland a 7 lane mega highway between the Hollywood Bowl and the B line station. Why can’t this just be a 2 or 4 lane street with wider sidewalks and better pedestrian infrastructure. It’s so frustrating walking in that area after an event and having cars rip 80 down the road with families and children walking around.

What's the timeline of when stations are going to be built?

I've read that certain stations are going to be moved outside of their originally proposed locations (I believe Bakersfield and Merced?), but what's the sequencing on when they are going to be built? Is that going to be at the very end once all the grade separation and the track laying is done?

Does anyone have any updates on the funding issues with Metrolink?

I remember reading that there was a public hearing event for OCTA, but I haven't read any updates about whether they came to a conclusion or not.
