Is entertainment necessary?

Hey y'all! We're stressing about our Halloween wedding as it gets closer. I was planning on having a tarot card reader for entertainment during reception since there will be no alcohol and probably little to no dancing.

However, fiancé thinks it's unnecessary money spent because it's only 30 people and he thinks everyone will just mingle and catch up with each other anyway.

I am torn because everyone loved the idea when I pitched it and I have a reader waiting with a contract so I need outside input.

Yay or Nay??

Centerpieces with Family Style Catering?

Hey ladies and gentlemen, I am going to be asking my caterer, but I am just curious for those who had family style catering: what did your centerpieces look like?

I'm assuming that a runner of pretty stuff down the center of the table would get in the way of the food, so I'm just wondering what others did.

Thanks in advance!! 👰‍♀️🌻🍲
