I am planning an upcoming October road trip and need to book rooms over a period of two weeks. I was attempting to trigger the resort credit by paying for a non-refundable booking. I have done this many times before, but this time the charge posted as "Hilton Net Direct Rates". Every other time I have booked this way, the hotel charged me directly, triggering the resort credit.
I have attempted to use the contact information (included in the posting) but they were unable to help. They transferred me directly to the property but I could not get through.
I was wondering if anyone has had this problem before and how to resolve it.
If anyone else was planning to prepay to trigger a resort credit, be careful!
