I just received an offer to teach at a middle school in Suzhou for 15k rmb month and I needed some input on the hours i could be expected to work. The offer states that I would be teaching 22 classes per week with no office hours, however, I also need to prepare a PowerPoint every week for the students. How many hours could I expect to work when factoring in the time it will take to make class materials, grading, etc? Is this a standard offer? There’s no housing included, however, I have family I can live with.

Does anyone in Suzhou have dentist recommendations? I’m going to Suzhou in a few weeks and I want to go to the dentist while I’m there since I don’t have dental insurance in America and frankly I don’t want to pay hundreds of dollars for a checkup. Is it possible to have a dentists checkup without insurance as a foreigner in China? Around how much does it cost?
