In the late 80s I seem to remember a skit where they are singing with Japanese accents, together as a band all dressed up on a big stage singing:

"seperate your garbage - hey, hey, HEY! - its not just you and me anymore - its a politcal world"

Looking for a link or even just confirmation that someone else remembers this and I'm not making it up! We watched a lot of Canadian TV in Detroit and this was something I caught as a teenager with my friends and we have all thought of it again and again over the last 35 years - every single time recycling needs to be sorted.
