There have been over 200 rules violations, each week for the past several weeks. Most of those are from newer users who have obviously not read our Community Rules, even though they are available in at least three places. Due to this, we are pausing all activity for 36 hours, so that people can use this time to become familiar with our expectations. Please read our rules. No one will be able to join, post, or comment. Please do not send ModMail to request becoming an authorized user. We will not respond to those messages.

They’re posted in at least three places, AND you get a direct link to your Inbox when you join. We should not have to moderate 100+ submissions every day because you can’t do a simple task. If this continues to be a problem, we will lock down the sub for 3 days. TYIA.

Moderators will be on vacation for an expected approximate 10 days. We will be out of our home countries and will have limited internet access. For this reason, the community is being paused during that time. You will still be able to view the sub. No one will be able to join, post, or comment.

Hey All. You may or may not have noticed that some of the photos in the feed have been disappearing. This is a Reddit issue. Moderators are not removing those images. When we do actually remove something, the entire post is gone from the feed.

We will be leaving these posts for now, in the hopes that Reddit resolves the issue. I have submitted an inquiry to r/bugs for status (see link below). If it does not get fixed in the next couple weeks, we will remove the posts in order to maintain a relevant feed with actual content. Thanks for your patience.

BUG INQUIRY

Hi. Today is May 27 and this has been an ongoing issue in r/HenryCavill. The following phenomenon happens to new posts, as well as older posts that have looked normal for a week or even several weeks. Suddenly some posted photos are just black boxes and when clicked (in the iOS app), an error says "Media has been removed". Oddly, on the website, some of the same post photos show a black box that says "If you are looking for an image, it was probably deleted", but *sometimes* clicking on the image anyway will show the photo. As a Moderator, this is very frustrating. I don't want to leave "empty" posts, if/when they are truly empty. And I don't want to remove posts that LOOK empty to me, but are actually fine despite the Reddit platform issue. However... either way, I primarily use my iPhone, and I don't have time to constantly check every post (new and old) again, via the website, from my Mac. Is this issue going to be fixed soon? TYIA.
