So recently my Honda‘s engine with 70k miles on it had a catastrophic engine failure due to oil sludge (Was taken to Honda techs). This was with regular oil changes and yearly inspections. My family and I are trying to figure out what to do and it’s looking like our best option is to sell. For a used engine replacement it would be about 8k and for a new engine 14k. I don’t know if it would be worth it to buy an engine and sell it or just sell it for parts.
I’ve never sold a car before so any advice is appreciated :)
