Red Velvet Cremi - Tasting off!
Hi everyone! I’ve always desired to make a low cal red velvet creami but I’ve made it twice now and it just tastes….off? I can’t pin it. Just not red-velvety at all. I’m using LorAnn’s red velvet which seems to have raving reviews so I’m thinking maybe I’m missing something? Recipe below:
- Fairlife chocolate 2% milk (the first time I made it with regular Fairlife and thought maybe it wasn’t chocolately enough so I subbed chocolate milk the 2nd time)
- 2tb allulose
- 2tb of zero sugar free cheesecake pudding mix
- 2tsp of red velvet extract
- 1/4 tsp xantham gum
Has anyone successfully made a red velvet cremi that they love? What have you done?!?
