Complete DCT gearbox failure in Tata Nexon at 22k km — gearbox replacement suggested

I own a Tata Nexon purchased in July 2024 and the car has run only around 22,000 km.
Recently, the car started showing an “F” symbol on the cluster during startup and I noticed abnormal transmission behavior. After diagnosis at the service center, I was informed that the DCT/DCA gearbox has failed completely and requires full gearbox replacement.
Diagnostic observations mentioned:
“Clutch 2 actuation pressure below target”
DCT/DCA gearbox failure
Complete gearbox replacement recommended
I’m honestly surprised because:
The car is barely 2 years old
No major abuse/off-roading done
Mostly regular city/highway driving
I wanted to know from other Tata DCA owners:
Has anyone faced complete gearbox failure this early?
Was Tata supportive with warranty approval?
After replacement, did the issue come back again?
Does the replaced gearbox get fresh warranty coverage or continue under original vehicle warranty?
Anything specific I should verify before accepting delivery after replacement?
Also, what documents should I collect from the service center to ensure the replacement is officially recorded properly?
Would appreciate experiences and suggestions from anyone who dealt with Tata DCA gearbox issues. UK
