Liokaiser, what are these grooves for?

Got my Liokaiser yesterday and enjoying it so far. No QC issues, but I can't help but wonder if anyone has any idea what these grooves on the bots that make up the arms might be for?

Edit: Question was answered, they're for one of the features I haven't had much time to mess around with yet, they slide onto the flight stands for display purposes.

Also, saw a comment where someone said they weren't seeing anyone posing Liokaiser in their posts so, one pic is a little attempt at a pose.

First Metal Cardbot

Got my first Metal Cardbot today, Tachy. As others have said she really is something else. Very good and high quality figure with lots of articulation and play options. But what really got me is none of the pictures I saw prepared me for how BIG she is! With her attachments she's nearly as big as 86 Ultra Magnus! Without she's equal with 86 Optimus prime!

I think I'm switching to Metal Cardbots now until Hasbro figures out how to give us a better value.
