I'm really on the fence between Spotify and Tidal

I've been a Spotify user for around 6 years and I've got a lot of playlists and saved songs on Spotify, I know where everything I need and like is and I like it that way. But I've been feeling increasingly bad about Spotify supporting military AI and annoyed by their use of AI.

I've recently switched to Tidal (still keeping my Spotify account, just no subscription) and I'm on the fence about it. I like how not social it is (I used to be super into seeing what people listen, etc. but I just don't care anymore, I don't need in-app messaging and shit), I like that it has better artist payout, I like that it's seemingly anti-AI and I like the clean slate (I know there's a few ways to transfer stuff over from Spotify but I prefer doing it slowly by hand to pick what stuff I want to carry over and what I don't).

The quality doesn't make a big difference for me as I usually only listen on JBL headphones and on my work computer with abysmal speakers or at home with the same situation, I can't say I've noticed a big difference ngl (maybe I just don't have an ear for it).

However I've been struggling a bit - when I look up a song (for example De música ligera from Soda Stereo) the first song that pops up is the live version, which I don't care for. Similar happened with another song I like, tried to look it up and the versions that popped up were one version from the series and one acoustic version, to get to the one I wanted (original) I had to go into the specific album.

Another issue I have is there's artists with two different artist pages in the app which is really tedious. It's also much more annoying to find songs I liked/saved in my collection - on Spotify it would show a list of the songs you liked directly under the artist's name which is really handy.

And the last thing I miss is having a good tracking app that's able to track my listening well. I've had stats.fm for years and I've imported all my spotify history in it, I really like the app (except, again, the social aspect and I think there's been too many graphics lately). However it doesn't work with Tidal and I really don't like last.fm, it also actually doesn't even work for me with Tidal which sucks.

I saw some similar posts, I know someone said they don't like the bad sync feature but I like it bc Spotify was weird with me and kept showing stuff playing on my phone while it was actually playing on my computer (where it was supposed to play) and I really fucking hated it. Idc about queue transfering from one device to another bc I don't need the connectivity at all.

I guess what I'm looking for is 1. to rant a bit and 2. if anyone has had the same issues as me, how did you resolve it? I'm just lost lol, on one hand I was planning to hold out with Spotify until Wrapped came out but I just felt the nag and made the switch now and I guess I'm super second guessing it rn lol. Anyways sorry for the rant and ramble, I'm open for any advice or other's experience.
