I think i have curly hair but I'm scared to transition 😬
Hi all, im not really sure where this post is going to go and what advice/info I'm looking for, but for context in the first picture this is how I always style my hair for as long as I've been exposed to straighteners. After blowdrying, my hair is very dry and poofy, so I've always straightened to smooth it out and style.
In the second picture, im probably 3/4 days into a camping trip with no access to hair dryers or straighteners, my hair is still quite dry and frizzy but I feel like there is some form of curl pattern hidden in there.
The third photo I thought to hell with it, lets give a curly routine a try, if I can remember correctly, I washed and conditioned my as usual and then either plopped and moussed or moussed and plopped and then diffused my hair with a sieve as I didn't want to buy a diffuser if it wasn't going to work.
I guess my question is, would you guys agree I have curly hair and does it suit me? I'm 35 now, and I hate my current style of straightening as it never stays sleek, it's always dry and frizzy but it's all I've known so I'm kind of scared to ditch my comfort blanket hair style.
I found some curl products in tkmaxx, so I think I'm going to give it a whirl again while I have a couple of days off. Any advice and tips would be greatly appreciated
