Caterer recommendations?

Reddit saves the day! Thanks everyone, I've got two great places lined up for the weekend!

I am planning a conference in Selma for next month and getting desperate looking for a caterer, food truck, or even a restaurant that can do take-out for 45 people, buffet style. I don't need staff or dishes, just the food. I have been calling, emailing, texting, and yelp messaging every food truck and caterer in the area for months and most never respond. If anyone knows someone who can help me out, please send me their contact info.

Thanks!

PSA early voting for primaries ends on Friday

If you've been procrastinating, get your ballots dropped off or go vote.

Remember:

- You can only vote in the county where you live. You can only use the drop boxes for your own county. Carson City drop boxes can't accept Washoe ballots, etc. Drop it in the mail if you can't get to the right drop box.

- The primaries are for parties to pick their candidates for the general election, if you are not a member of a party or if your party doesn't have multiple candidates for a race, you can't vote in those races in the primary. You can change your party at the polls or online. Some city and county non-partisan races can be voted on by anyone.

- The online registration and the computers at the polls don't have an instant sync. If you make changes online, it might take a day or two for the poll workers to see that change.

- If you want to register, you need two forms of ID showing your local address.

- Be nice to the poll workers, they're just trying to help you vote but they have to follow election laws.

Weird raised bed idea and results

A couple of years ago I found an amazing deal on porcelain patio tiles. I had a crazy idea that we could use them for raised bed walls in addition to building a patio. They are much thicker and stronger than regular tiles, won't rot, rust, or spall, and they are 18" wide, a nice height for a raised bed. The down sides are weight (about 25 pounds each) and they are hard to cut or drill.

Last year we built the wood framed ones and that worked fairly well but the wood has discolored and twisted a lot from exposure to weather and dirt. We had some steel struts laying around so we tried that for the newest bed. The strut fits perfectly over the edges and there are notches to hold the end tiles. The two struts are connected by a long piece of threaded rod. If this holds up, I might order some nicer looking powder coated struts for beds in our berry garden.

So far the tiles are holding up perfectly in the beds and patio
