my review of shear revival northern lights

Hello all, I thought I’d share my experience with Northern Lights after it was recommended my post here.

First, the good: the scent is lovely. Even with my sensitive nose, it’s great (I don’t like fragrances that are too strong). The hold is good and pretty much stays the same throughout the whole day. It gives the hair good texture without making it look oily.

Now the bad: it’s way too hard to apply to my hair. It feels like I’m ripping my hair out just trying to work it in. I tried wetting the clay a bit, but that just gives it a weird texture. Once it’s applied, though, I can still run my fingers through my hair without any issues.

Maybe hair clay is simply the wrong type of product for my hair, but unfortunately, this won’t be my holy grail.

Looking for a medium-hold, matte hair product that still lets you run your fingers through your hair

Hey everyone,

I have thick, straight, medium-length hair that falls into my face very easily. Currently, I kind of style my hair back and let it fall naturally to the sides. I use Got2b Phenomenal Texturizing Clay, and I really like how it makes my hair look, but it makes it pretty hard to run my fingers through my hair for a quick restyle.

Thanks for any suggestions!
