I have targeted my primary keyword on my homepage, but Google is ranking one of my feature pages instead. That feature page is low priority, and I want the homepage to rank for that keyword.

To fix this, I changed the feature page's meta title and meta description to target a different intent. I also requested reindexing in Google Search Console.

The problem is that Google is still showing the old meta title and description in search results.

What should I do next? Should I wait, improve internal linking to the homepage, change the feature page content, or do something else?
