one of my employees has a beautiful rescue pup about a year old. he was found on the side of the highway last year in a shopping cart. little bear was hit by a car a little over a week ago, and alex, my employee and friend could use real support in paying for his vet bills. little bear is okay and recovering well.
in addition, alex is being hit with the triple whammy of 2026 firehorse energy… he just lost his housing situation and his head gasket blew in his car. if anyone has a van they would be willing to sell, he’s looking to feed two birds with one scone and convert to van life.

Little Bear is a living legend on the 400 block of Haywood Rd. He was found on the side of the highway as a young puppy and rescued by Alex, who started working with us at Kava X to support his new and unexpected child. Since then, Little Bear has grown into a fine beast, but tragedy struck last week and he was hit by a car. He is okay but did suffer wounds. We are asking for the love of Little Bear to help Alex with his vet bills. 🤍
