The thing I loved the most was longjing cookie and Xiaolongbao cookie scenes, their relationship dynamic is so cute ( I didn’t read the past or this one like 100% so feel free to correct me if I’m wrong ) everyone is free to view the character relationships like they want but I low-key ship them together, Ik they have like a brothership thing going on but I can’t help but to pair them together, with how Xiaolongbao worries for longjing and longjing acting tuff but deep down appreciates Xiaolongbao so much, I almost teared up in the cave scene, I was scared that longjing cookie was going to die, P.D. This story being on pride month idk ig it’s too much of a stretch but it’s a cute little detail for me ❤️

Is it just me or did they actually forget about the compass and gingerbrave trying to find about the city of wizards, like I remember this use to be the main topic, characters like moonlight cookie being so mysterious and eerie, now it’s all about dragons,
Like how did we get there, there hasn’t been a single mention of the compass, they just put under the rug all this lore, I also remember star fruit cookie’s premonition about the elementals getting corrupted, was there a follow up to that or did it lead to nothing? I reallyyy enjoyed this cookies of darkness event, it was refreshing to see old forgotten characters and I get that we haven’t been seeing them cuz they were the main focus on kindgom, but still feels like they are wasted potential, the 5 elementals have been getting a lot of dust lately, it was a relief to see them in this story, now we are going back to the dragons… and dont get me wrong it’s not that I haven’t liked the dragon arc(now ebony dragon), i teared up with xitang cookie’s story, but im kinda getting tired.
